No, we only want to work for those companies that share the MIM to DE vision and want to do their projects using this technology and processes to,
If you are a company that is happy to use your 3D design models to only produce the 2D drawings or like to use only 2D drawings (not 3D) for your designs, then we humbly suggest this is not for you.
Yes, both the 2D CAD and 3D MIM e3D CAD Builds are inclusive of online training and online CAD support inclusive of incremental system updates with additional vendor and standards model data continuously developed by e3D for the duration of the subscription.
Air fares and accommodation are additional should they be required; however, we envisage that all actions, including training, will be processed online, and therefore travel and accommodation should not be required.
Yes, the minimum order is for five users only to qualify to use the e3D CAD Builds.
Orders over 100 users for a single company, then the costs per user is negotiable, and an enterprise agreement may be a better arrangement.
No, this yearly subscription price list does not cover the purchase or installation of Bentley's AECOsim (Openbuildings); that is the responsibility of your company.
Should additional license subscriptions be bought within the 12 month subscription period that places the total user count into the next price bracket, then the differences of the existing subscriptions and the additional subscriptions will be prorated and adjusted in the following annual subscription, or a prorated adjustment can be applied at the time of purchasing the other user license subscriptions.
The cancellation of a subscription requires a one-month notice in writing; no subscription fees are reimbursable should a subscription be canceled within the twelve months. It is understood by purchasing a subscription that the subscription duration is twelve months from the purchase date.
Should an annual subscription not be renewed, the users will be automatically declined access. The AECOsim system will revert to either the native (out of the box) AECOsim workspace or the company AECOsim workspace before using the e3D workspaces. In no way will any project files be affected other than not being able to open them thru the e3D MIM workspace.
Yes, the subscription includes deliverables 2D drawing outputs from the 3D design, 2D drafting, and 2D CADnets to Roy Hill, Rio Tinto, BHP Billiton, Fortescue Metals Group, and many other client CAD standards. Any additional required client CAD standard outputs will attract a one-off fee to be negotiated at the request time. Your company is responsible for obtaining permissions from BHP, RHH, RIO, and FMG to perform drafting services to conform to their respective CAD Standards.
Yes, the licenses are locked to the user's workstation. They are also locked to the user login; once a certain number of licenses are reached, and when it becomes impractical, the license locks will be removed and based on a subscription duration only.
E3D endeavors to provide the most accurate data libraries, including vendor and standards libraries, and from time to time, we may be provided models by your company to be included in the e3D CAD Build libraries. E3D will not accept any liability for the accuracy of the data provided in the e3D CAD Build. The models provided by your company to e3D will be considered no obligation, IP, and copyright-free to e3D. You can request that e3D only updates your CAD Build and that they are not to be shared with anyone else.
The e3D CAD Build comes project ready to produce 2D drawings and 3D modelling outputting to BHP, FMG, RHH, RIO and many other client Cad standards.
For conducting CAD Build installations, licensing and testing one month to,
This would be done under the subscription fees.
Sorry, but no. They would not work correctly in your CAD Build unless you had exactly the same data groups, definitions, family and parts, levels, render properties, and seed files, which is highly unlikely. Even if you somehow have the same system, there are so many libraries with so many components that unless you had a great user interface like our 3D CADnet, you would never find them all for them to be useful (it's a long cell list). The 2D & 3D CADnets were developed over the years and had 100,000's lines of scripted code which for you to duplicate would not be cost-effective (more cost-effective to subscribe to our CAD Build).
The other thing to consider is that each library, depending on its size and complexity, takes between 1 to 5 months to create and check; it is far more cost-effective to purchase a subscription than to pay what it costs to supply the libraries individually.
